Civil Service Ministry suspends work with fingerprint system for month

SANAA, March 15 (YPA) – Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance on Sunday announced the suspension of the fingerprint system in all units of the state’s administrative apparatus, the public and mixed sectors, and the private sector for a month as of Monday.

The ministry said in a statement that the decision comes in implementation of the decisions of the Higher Ministerial Committee and the memorandum of the Ministry of Public Health and Population as a precautionary measure to confront Corona virus, provided that attendance and leave are proven via other administrative ways.

The statement pointed out that this measure comes within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to actively contribute beside the state agencies and institutions to taking precautionary measures to confront Corona.
