Yemen’s Foreign Minister condemns US airstrikes on Iraq

SANAA, March 14 (YPA) – An official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned on Saturday the U.S. airstrikes on a number of civilian and military sites in Iraq, which killed and wounded several Iraqi soldiers and citizens.

The official affirmed in a statement that the airstrikes is a flagrant violation of the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Iraq.

The statement called on the international community to stop the US interference in the internal affairs of countries, and to destabilize security and stability.

It expressed the solidarity of the Republic of Yemen with the brotherly government and people of Iraq, to self-defense from any the foreign aggression.
