Coalition forces impose naval ban on Yemeni fishermen

SANAA, May 2 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces imposed a naval ban on Yemeni fishermen and private boats.

Yemeni fishermen have warned not to exceed 12 nautical miles from the Yemeni coast, or to approach the Yemeni islands close to the international shipping lane.

The coalition forces pointed out that this would make them vulnerable to punishment.

The coalition stooped fishermen in Yemeni waters and many of them are subjected to physical torture and many are struggling to survive, who depend mainly on fishing in their daily life.
