Protest at Sanaa University denounces Al-Sammad assassination

SANAA, May 2 (YPA) – Sanaa University and the university student forum on Wednesday organized a protest to denounce the assassination of president Saleh al-Samad and in support of President Mahdi al-Mashat.

The participants confirmed that all Yemeni people would continue to adopt the project launched by the martyred president under the slogan “A hand builds and another protects”.

They also expressed their support to the president al-Mashat to run the state affairs during the coming period.

The former president of the supreme polticcal council was killed on April 19, 2018, in airstrikes waged by US-backed, Saudi-led coalition on Yemen’s western posrt city of Hodeida.
