Hamas calls Saudi Arabia to release its detainees, stop aggression on Yemen

SANAA, March 10 (YPA) – Hamas movement of Palestine has called on Saudi Arabia to release its detained members in the kingdom, and to stop the aggression against Yemen immediately.

“We reject the classification of Hamas as a terrorist movement, because we are a resistance movement,” Member of the Public Relations Office of Hamas Ali Baraka said in a press release on Monday night.

He continued: “We refuse to be pressured, and we will not make any concessions to America.”

Baraka indicated that Saudi Arabia fights and prosecutes those who defend Al-Quds.

On Hamas detainees in Saudi Arabia, Baraka said that there was direct contact with the Saudi intelligence service, which said that the issue of releasing Hamas detainees in the kingdom was higher than its powers.

He added: “We sought mediation of Arab parties to tackle the matter, but we were surprised by their trial.”

The member of Hamas public relations office called on Arab and Islamic countries and peoples to “condemn the trial of Hamas members by Saudi Arabia.”

He affirmed that “America will not cover anyone and it will only work to defend the Zionist entity.”
