SANAA, March 7 (YPA) – The Higher Committee for Epidemics Control chaired Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs Dr. Hussein Maqbouli on Saturday discussed the role of international organizations in supporting the state’s efforts to confront the Corona virus.
At the meeting, Maqbouli briefed the international organizations on the decision of the Committee to conduct the examination for arrivals to Yemen without exception, including diplomatic missions and international organizations.
Dr. Maqbouli indicated that the health quarantine would be applied for fourteen days on the arrivals from 12 countries so far, which are China, South Korea, Italy, Iran, Japan, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, USA, Palestine and France.
The Deputy Prime Minister stressed the need for international organizations to play their part in equipping quarantine at Sanaa International Airport and ports in provinces, and to provide temperature measuring devices, medicines, and masks.
