SANAA, March 7 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Eng. Hisham Sharaf Abdullah met on Saturday with acting director of office of UN envoy for Yemen Ayman Makki to discuss the latest developments on the political process in Yemen.
At the meeting, the minister affirmed that recent political and field developments have required the UN Security Council to reconsider its position based on biased decisions towards the Saudi-led aggression coalition.
“Re-opening Sanaa International Airport before commercial and civil flights and lifting the unjustified blockade on all Yemeni ports will be needed for the Yemeni people and a good step to achieve the political process,” Sharaf added.
The minister stressed on the importance of re-payment of the state employees’ salaries to address the humanitarian disaster’s repercussions that targets the Yemen people.
