Syrian army shoots down 2 Turkish drones

SANAA, March 3 (YPA) – Syrian media reported on Tuesday that the Syrian army shot down a Turkish drone over Khan al-Sabil east of Saraqib in Idlib countryside.forces.

Earlier in the day, the Syrian army shot down another Turkish drone in the vicinity of Saraqib, after Ankara announced that it was targeting a Syrian L-39 warplane with a missile in Ma`rat al-Numan area, in the framework of the so-called “Operation Spring Shield”.

The Syrian News Agency quoted statements of Turkish Republican People’s Party head, Kemal Kılıçdarıcılo, in which he condemned the interference of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Syria’s affairs and policies, describing it as unsuccessful.
