North Korea launches 2 ballistic missiles from its eastern coast
SANAA, March 2 (YPA) – South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff announced on Monday that North Korea launched two ballistic missiles from its east coast.
According to the South Korean Ministry of Defense, the two missiles were launched from Wonsan on the eastern coast, the location from which Pyongyang launched a series of short-range missiles.
The ministry did not provide details of the type of the missiles, but said it was monitoring any further launches.
According to the South Korean Yonhap News Agency, this is the first time that North Korea has launched two missiles this year, and the launch of North Korea comes 95 days after the last operation 28 in November last year.
North Korea previously fired two missiles from the giant multi-missile launcher from the “Yunbu” area located in the “South Hamgyong” region in North Korea on the afternoon of last November 28, and the two missiles flew to a distance of 380 km with a maximum height of 97 km, and landed in the East Sea.
