President al-Mashat stresses on Yemeni tribe’s role in resolving revenge issues

SANAA, March 1 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Sunday stressed the importance of strengthening Yemeni tribe’s role in resolving the issues of revenge and disputes to contribute to enhancing unity and cohesion in the face of the aggression.

This came during the President’s meeting with the Council’s member Mohammed Ali al-Houthi and Head of the General Commission for Tribes Affairs Sheikh Hunain Qutaina.

The meeting touched on the prominent role of the Yemeni tribes in facing the aggression and the great victories that were achieved through uniting the home front and providing the fronts with money and men.

The meeting also discussed activating the role of the Commission to contribute to preserving the status and pioneering role of Yemen’s tribes in various aspects.
