STC’s militias force journalists to leave Aden

ADEN, Feb. 29 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias forced a number of journalists to leave the port city of Aden, southern Yemen, sources reported on Saturday.

A number of journalists affiliated with Hadi’s government were forced by the STC’s militia to leave Aden , after being subjected to harassment and insults in the previous months, the sources explained.

The sources confirmed that the journalists who were forced to leave Aden, had been assaulted by the militias, and their identity cards were confiscated in a military point located between Lahj and Taiz provinces, north of Aden.
