Coalition’s mercenaries commit 188+ violations in Hodeidah over past 24 hours
HODEIDAH, Feb. 26 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s mercenaries committed over 188 violations of armistice agreement in Hodeidah province over the past 24 hours, a source in the Correlation and Coordination Operations told Yemen Press Agency.
The mercenaries carried out 135 shootings, 28 artillery bombing, nine attacks, five moving operations, four fortifications, three missile shelling and four flight operations and air reconnaissance.
On Wednesday midnight, coalition’s forces committed 78 violations in Kilo 16 area and 42 in al-Khamiri area.
The coalition’s troops committed 30 violations in city max, 23 in al-Shaab city, eight in al-Mandhar, four in Durayhmi, three in Jabalia area of Tuhayta, Hays districts and in Jah city, the source added.
Coalition’s mercenaries established new fighting fortifications in Jah area of Bait al-Fakih district.
The mercenaries carried out an infiltration toward the Yemeni army’s in east of Tuhayta district.
They also bombarded separate areas in Kilo 16 area of al-Hali district by 25 artillery shells and seven mortars.
Hodeidah city was shelled by two mortars and new fortifications were established in east of al-Shabab city on Tissain street.
A security official confirmed that citizens’ farms and properties were shelled by over 25 artillery shells and Jabalia area was bombarded by over 24 artillery shells and various weapons.
In Durayhmi district, a child was injured and homes damaged due to coalition’s tanks bombardment which targeted al-Manqam village by 11 mortar shells.
