Saudi forces establish checkpoints in Mahrah

MAHRAH, Feb. 23 (YPA) – The Saudi forces and its militants in Mahrah province established on Sunday several checkpoints in Shahan port in the province, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that the move by the Saudi forces came after Mahrah tribes had rejected to hand over the main gates of the port to the Saudi-backed militants.

Earlier, the head of the media committee for sit-ins in the province, Salem Belhaf, said that the uprising by tribes in Mahrah against the Saudi occupation forces is an inevitable result of the Saudi violations in the province.
