Yemeni army attacks Saudi-backed militias in Taiz

TAIZ, May 1 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday launched a large-scale attack on the positions of the Saudi-backed militias on the west coast fronts, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The attack took place and started from north and west of Moza’a district and from the south of the district junction that extended over the positions of Saudi-backed militants in the western coast fronts.

The source confirmed that dozens of militias were killed and others injured in the military operations, as well as destroying and seizing a large number of weapons.

On Monday, the artillery forces of the army bombed gatherings of Saudi-backed militias in the Al-Hamli area of Moza’a district, causing huge fires in the site.
