Parliament discusses draft amendment to Local Authority Law

SANAA, Feb. 17 (YPA) – The Parliament listened, in its session on Monday headed by Deputy Speaker Akram Attiya, to the Local Authority Committee’s report on a draft amendment to some paragraphs of Article 123 of the Local Authority Law No. 4 of 2000.

The report dealt with the local resources of districts, which are collected for the benefit of each district, and the shared resources at the level of each province, as well as the shared general resources.

The report also included observations and opinion of the committee on the bill, as well as a number of recommendations on that.

The Parliament postponed its discussion of the report to a future session in the presence of the concerned government side.
