AWF, Feb. 15 (YPA) – Dozens of civilians were killed and wounded when Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched airstrikes on a gathering at the plane that was shot down by the air defenses of the Yemen army in Masloub district of Jawf province.
A security official explained that the aggression launched raids on the plane’s wreck site during the gathering of citizens, which led to the death and injury of dozens, most of them women and children.
The official confirmed that the warplanes re-targeted the paramedics, which led to an increase in the number of martyrs and wounded to 40 in an initial toll.
The official appealed to the Ministry of Health and Humanitarian Organizations to send ambulances to Masloub district to treat the wounded to hospitals in the capital, Sanaa.
