8 killed in traffic accident in Russia’s north-western

SANAA, Feb. 13 (YPA) – At least eight people were killed when a minibus and a truck collided in Russia’s northwestern province of Pskov last night, local authorities said on Thursday.

The incident occurred around midnight on a road near the provincial capital of Pskov, where a Mercedes minibus collided head-on with a Volvo truck, killing eight people and injuring two others, the local interior official said.

According to preliminary information, the dead were Ukrainian citizens, the official said, adding that investigation had begun to be made to determine the causes the incident.
