Sudan’s parliament pushes to end Sudan’s involvement in Yemen’s war
SANAA, April 30 (YPA) – The Sudanese parliament on Monday has called for the withdrawal of Sudanese forces involved in Saudi-led war in Yemen, the Sudanese daily Akhbar al-Youm stated.
“”Tagheer” bloc was been against the participation of the Sudanese armed forces and rapid support forces in the Yemen war that caused the loss of life for Sudanese soldiers,” “Tagheer” Sudanese parliamentary bloc affirmed in a press statement.
“Sudan participation in this war is contrary to the Constitution and law for lack of approval by Parliament,” the statement added.
“The bloc called on Sudan’s government to take political positions toward achieving peace in Yemen, to respect its sovereignty and to no interfere in its internal affairs, “The statement said.
