Foreign Minister congratulates President Al-Mashat

SANAA, April 30 (YPA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf, congratulated President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat for winning the confidence of the Supreme Political Council to take over the leadership of the country during the next stage.

In a letter to President al-Mashat, the foreign minister stressed that the killing of al-Sammad will not dissuade the Yemeni people from following the path taken by him.

Sharaf pointed out that the Ministry will stand firmly with President al-Mashat, to carry out his national responsibilities during the current phase, including supporting the current efforts to achieve peace by the Secretary-General’s Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith.
