Yemen women rally to denounce al-Sammad  assassination

MAHWIT, April 30 (YPA) – – Dozens of women in Shibam-Kawkaba district of Mahwit province organized on Sunday a protest rally to denounce the assassination of President Saleh  al-Sammad.

At the rally, the women condemned the continued international silence over the crime of targeting a national symbol, as well as crimes against the children, women and elders of Yemen.

The women also referred to achievements of al-Sammad during his life in difficult circumstances, noting his courageous and national positions in dealing with the challenges.

The participants stressed that the blood of the Yemenis will not go to waste.

The women called on all Yemeni people to fund the army in the battlefronts with fighters, money and equipment to help achieving victory and liberate Yemen from invaders and occupiers.
