UN warns coalition of collapse of Hodeidah agreement

HODEIDAH, Feb. 5 (YPA) – The head of United Nations Mission to Support Stockholm Agreement on Hodeidah, Abhijit Guha, warned on Wednesday the Saudi-led aggression coalition of collapse of the agreement.

Abhijit Guha in a statement, expressed his deep concern about the coalition’s air strikes on al-Dhuha district of Hodeidah, noting that the ongoing air attack endangers Hodeidah agreement.

Guha called on the Yemeni parties to continue to engage in work jointly for strengthening the ceasefire and continuing in respecting the truce on the ground.

The UN-sponsored truce went into force on Dec, 18, 2019.
