National Salvation Govt releases 32 Egyptian sailors
SANAA, Feb. 4 (YPA) – The National Salvation Government on Tuesday released 32 Egyptian sailors who had been arrested earlier by the Yemeni Coast Guard while illegally in Yemeni territorial waters.
Th move came following an amnesty from the head of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat.
An Egyptian plane carrying representatives of the Republic of Egypt arrived at Sanaa International Airport today to pick up the released sailors.
This step is an expression of the authentic values, appreciation and respect of the Yemeni people they hold towards the Egyptian people and the historical relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
