Coalition tries to target internal front through adopting criminal gangs, cells

SANAA, Feb. 4 (YPA) – The Saudi-led aggression coalition has strived with its plots and means to target the internal front through adopting its criminal gangs and cells in the Yemeni provinces, a security official said in a statement on Tuesday.

The official affirmed that the initial investigations and confessions with most of the people and gangs involved in crimes, smuggling drugs and hashish, have proved the generous support by the coalition countries for the gangs, especially those of African nationality, to target the Yemeni community.

The Yemeni forces arrested dozens of the coalition-backed people, including African people, accused of smuggling wine, drugs and hashish, in the capital Sanaa and other provinces.

According to the official, there are major challenges facing the security services that have the important national responsibilities to maintain stability and security for Yemen, as well as to thwart aggression’s direct or indirect plans against the Yemeni people.
