Yemen’s Parliament Speaker affirms enhancing cooperation with MSF

SANAA, Feb. 4 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament Speaker Yahya Ali al-Raee stressed on Tuesday the importance of enhancing cooperation and coordinating between Yemen and Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF).

The move came during his meeting with Caroline Ducarme, MSF Head of Mission in Yemen.

The Speaker appreciated the humanitarian efforts and activities provided by MSF delegation working in Yemen for alleviating the suffering the Yemeni people in light of the war and siege launched by the Saudi-UAE aggression coalition.

Al-Raee briefed the MSF delegation on the worsening humanitarian situation especially health sector caused by the aggression in Yemen.
