Ambulance flight departs Sanaa Airport outside medical airlift: Official

SANAA, Feb. 3 (YPA) – Director of the medical airlift Dr. Mutahar al-Darwish revealed that the flight that took off on Monday from Sanaa International Airport to transport patients is an ambulance flight and not the first flights of the medical bridge.

“An emergency flight departed today carrying 15 people, half of them sick and half of them accompanying,” Dr. al-Darwish said in a statement, indicating that the plane was not equipped to be suitable for the patients ’conditions.

“We got a written commitment from the UN parties to provide all medical supplies for this plane, and then the flight was approved,” he added.
