SANAA, Jan. 31. (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes stepped up its airstrikes on the capital, Sana’a, and its environs, and violated the ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah a security official said on Friday.
The coalition warplanes launched an airstrike on the Atan area in the capital Sana’a, two airstrikes on the districts of Arhab and Bani Matar and two raids on Nihm district of Sana’a province.
On Thursday, the aggression warplanes launched 17 raids on Nihm district.
In a dangerous escalation and in breach of the Stockholm Agreement, the coalition forces launched an airstrike on Ad-Dahi district of Hodeidah province
According to the official, two young men, a child and a girl were injured by Saudi-led mercenaries artillery attacks on al-Mughars area of Tuhayat District.
He confirmed that the aggression forces targeted the joint attachment point in Khamri area, using heavy machine guns.
Moreover, the mercenaries launched several mortar shells, targeting separate areas in south of Hays district, the official said.
Furthermore, they targeted separate areas in Jah area of Bait-Faqih district, causing heavy damage to civilians’ homes and farms, the official added
The Saudi-led aggression and its mercenaries continued to violate the ceasefire in Hodeidah Governorate since the signing of the Sweden Agreement in December 2018.
