HADRAMOUT, April 28 (YPA) – Troops backed by UAE occupation forces launched a new operation called “Black Mountains” on Saturday morning to clear the mountainous areas of Hadramout province from terrorist elements in eastern Yemen, a local official told Yemen Press Agency.
The governor of Hadramout, appointed by the exiled, resigned Hadi and loyal to the UAE forces, and the commander of the second military zone, launched the black mountains, a large-scale campaign, carried out by the elite forces funded by the UAE to clean the northern mountain areas of the province coast from the terrorist elements of Islah militias affiliated to Ali Mohsn leader.
The sources said that the terrorist elements spread in the coastal plateau, and in several Al-wadi districts, which the elite forces had been launched military operations during the past two months.
The operation of black mountains comes after expansion of assassinations in the cities of Sioun and Trim for many social and religious figures.
The terrorist elements of al-Qaeda were deployed after Mohsen forces were called to go out from all Al-wadi and handed over to the elite forces of Hadramout.
Terrorist groups have been active in a number of mountain areas and have used them as corridors during the past period to carry out terrorist acts.
