Gov’t succeeds re-operating Amran Cement Factory with new technologies

AMRAN, Jan.25 (YPA) – The National Salvation Government has succeeded in modernizing and re-operating Amran Cement Factory with a new low-cost system.

The Factory’s Workers Union, in a statement issued Saturday, praised the government’s support for the factory and the start of production, which is an incentive for workers and employees and will reflect positively on the progress of work and production.

The Workers Union appreciated the cooperation of the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Yemeni General Corporation for Cement Industry and Marketing in providing production requirements, maintaining equipment and making the necessary updates in the factory to start work by the coal system.

In its statement, the Workers Union stressed the importance of concerted efforts for the continuation of the factory’s activity in providing the local market with cement.
