Higher Education Minister meets ambassadors of EU, France and the Netherlands

SANAA, Jan. 24 (YPA) – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hussein Hazeb met on Thursday the European Union (EU)’s ambassador to Yemen Hans Grundberg, French ambassador Christian Testo, and Dutch ambassador Irma Van Doorn.

At the meeting, the minister briefed the ambassadors on the damage of the institutions of higher education and crimes committed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition against the Yemeni people for five years.

The officials discussed a role played by the European Union to pressure on the aggression countries to stop the aggression and lift the siege on the Yemeni people.

Hazeb expressed his hope that the EU ambassadors’visit to Sanaa would contribute to re-granting cultural exchange between to Yemen and the EU and enhancing cooperation.

Meanwhile, the EU ambassadors affirmed that their countries would exert more efforts to stop the war on Yemen and achieve peace.
