SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat met on Thursday with the UN envoy for Yemen Martin Griffiths.
At the meeting, the president discussed with Griffiths on the latest military escalation by the Saudi-led aggression coalition and its mercenaries in Marib fronts.
Al-Mashat said,” If the Saudi aggression and its air strike on the Yemeni purple would continue to meet strong response.”
The president called on the United Nations to play its role in pressure on the aggression countries to allow the public telecommunications corporation communication Sea cable to alleviate the capital’s huge losses due to cutting off the cable.
Al-Mashat affirmed the Supreme Political Council’s keenness to provide the necessary facilities and support for the UN humanitarian organizations working in Yemen.
