Industry Minister affirms ministry’s readiness to support medicinal industries sector

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – Minister of Industry Abdul-Wahab al-Durrah affirmed the ministry’s readiness to support the national pharmaceutical industries sector to achieve self-sufficiency of medicines.

At the meeting, the Minister stressed on the importance of enhancing the cooperation between the government sector and the private sector in the field of local pharmaceutical industries.

Al-Durrah said that the Ministry would exert more efforts to exempt the national pharmaceutical products from the general sales tax.
