FM meets UNDP’s Resident Representative

SANAA, Jan. 21 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah met on Tuesday the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Auke Lootsma.

During the meeting, the officials reviewed programs and activities being implemented by the UNDP to address the repercussions of the humanitarian catastrophe as a result of the Saudi-led aggression coalition.

The meeting discussed a number of the aspects related to the issue of dealing with Safir’s floating oil tank in order to avoid any potential environmental disaster, and rehabilitation of Hodeidah port.

The Foreign Minister affirmed that the National Salvation Government appreciated efforts made by the UNDP in providing all facilities and the support to Yemen.
