President al-Mashat meets central bank governor

SANAA, Jan. 19 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat met on Sunday with the Central Bank’s governor Rashid Abu Lahom.

At the meeting, Al-Mashat renewed the council’s support for a policy of the Bank in its recent measures to withdraw illegal currency printed by the Saudi-exiled government to target the national economy.

The meeting discussed the results of steps taken by the bank to prevent the circulation of the illegal currency again in order to reduce its impact on the economy and citizens.
