Foreign Minister meets Swiss donor delegation

SANAA, Jan. 19 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah met on Sunday the Swiss Donor delegation headed by Patrik Olsson visiting the capital Sanaa.

At the meeting, the minister briefed the Swiss delegation on the world’s worsening humanitarian catastrophe caused by the Saudi-led aggression coalition in Yemen.

Sharaf affirmed that the National Salvation Government have worked according to the available capabilities to revive the Yemeni economy, despite the siege imposed by the coalition countries on the Yemeni people, especially seizing ships loaded with oil derivatives.

The Minister appreciated the humanitarian role played by the Swiss government in providing the necessary humanitarian assistance and arranging the donor conference for Yemen during the past year.
