Meteorology center warns residents of cold wave within next 24 hours

SANAA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center warned on Saturday residents and farmers of a very cold wave in various Yemeni provinces within the next 24 hours.

The center expected in a weather forecast that the wave would target the provinces of Sanaa, Amran, Saada, Ibb, Dhalea, Lahj, Abayn, Shabwah, Dhamar and Bayda, with the speed of the surface winds that would be 12 to 22 knots.

The center also warned the sea goers around Socotra archipelago and the western coasts of high waves of the sea.
