US-Saudi-led coalition combat jets attack Saada
SAADA, April 28 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes waged on Saturday an air strike on Saada province, an official told Yemen Press Agency.
The strike targeted Alaf area of Saher district.
On Saturday, the coalition warplanes waged a series of strikes on the capital of Sanaa, killing a citizens and wounding two others.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni army said it fired eight ballistic missiles, Badr 1, towards Saudi border city of Jizan in retaliation for a series of air strikes on the capital Sanaa.
Last week, the coalition air strikes targeted a wedding party in Bani Qais area of Hajj province, killing 35 civilians and injuring 55 others, including 30 children.
The four-year-old coalition war on Yemen has killed over 10,000 Yemenis, mostly women and children, displaced more than 3 million, according to the United Nations.
