Prime Minister discusses UNDP activities in Yemen
SANAA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Wednesday discussed with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP)’s resident representative Auke Lootsma the development activity of the program in several basic fields.
The meeting focused on joint efforts for the rehabilitation of the port of Hodeidah, as the only lifeline for the vast majority of the Yemeni people during the current period of aggression and siege.
The meeting also touched on the efforts made by the United Nations to restart the power stations, including restarting Marib gas-powered station to feed the national electricity grid.
