Mourner of Slain president al-Sammad killed in Sanaa

SANAA, April 28 (YPA) –  One of President Saleh al-Sammad mourners was killed in the Saudi-led airstrikes which were waged on Saba’en square vicinity in the capital Sanaa, an official told Yemen Press Agency.

The airstrikes were coinciding with the start of the funeral ceremony of President Saleh al-Sammad and his companions.

Meanwhile, the Yemen army fired eight ballistic missiles, Bader-1, toward economic and vital targets” in the southern Saudi province of Jizan.

Saudi official media reported a Saudi man was killed in the missile attacks.

The attack appeared to be retaliation promised by Yemen’s political leaders for the killing of the President al-Sammad in a Saudi-led air strike last week in Hodeida province.
