New Zealand volcano death toll rises to 20

SANAA, Jan. 13 (YPA) – The death toll of New Zealand’s White Island volcano has risen to 20.

New Zealand police announced on Monday that the death toll had risen to 20 after the death of one of the wounded.

The 47 people, the majority of them Australian tourists, were surprised last December by the eruption of the volcano during their visit to the volcanic island, which is a tourist destination.
