FM condoles Iranian counterpart over assassination of General Soleimani

SANAA, Jan.4 (YPA) – Yemen’s Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah sent on Saturday a message of condolence to the Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif over the assassination of the commander Qasem Soleimani, who was killed by the U.S. air strikes in Iraq.

Minister Sharaf expressed the National Salvation Government’s condolences and the Yemeni people to the Iranian government, its people over the martyrdom of General Soleimani.

The minister affirmed the government’s condemnation over the U.S. air attacks, which is a violation of international law and a blatant interference in the Iraqi affairs and it sovereign.
