SANAA, Jan. 4 (YPA) – The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC)’s employees, unions and affiliated organizations organized on Friday a protest in front of the United Nations office in the capital Sanaa, in the framework of their open sit-in since 273 days.
In the 39th Friday vigil that was titled “the United Nations invests suffering of people “, the company’s spokesman Amin al-Shabati said that “Saudi-led coalition forces are still holding more than eight fuel ships loaded with over 240,000 tons of gasoline and diesel.”
Al-Shabati called on the United Nations to carry out its legal duties and put pressure on the aggression coalition to release the detained ships, holding the organization responsible for the continual suffering of the Yemeni people.
