ADEN, Jan. 2 (YPA) – At least two Yemeni fishermen were wounded Thursday by Saudi occupation forces’ fire when they were passing on a boat in the waters adjacent to Maasheq Palace in Aden province, southern Yemen.
As a result, a number of fishermen staged protests in front of the Palace, demanding the expulsion of the Saudi forces that target them while practicing the profession of fishing in the Yemeni waters.
Local sources reported that the Saudi forces that are stationed in the Maasheq Palace shot intensively at the fishermen, injuring two of them.
One of the fishermen called Fahim Abdullah Zaid was seriously wounded and he is currently treated in a hospital in the city of Aden, the sources added.
