President al-Mashat urges Zakat Authority to reach beneficiaries in provinces

SANAA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Sunday urged the General Authority of Zakat to double efforts to reach all those deserving Zakat in the various provinces without any discrimination.

During his meeting with Head of the Zakat Authority Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nashtan, President al-Mashat praised the success of the authority’s work, despite the short period that has passed since its establishment.

The meeting dealt with the tangible results achieved by the Authority in reaching the Zakat beneficiaries from the poor and needy and alleviating much of the suffering of a wide segment of the Yemeni people, especially in light of the siege and aggression.
