Shura Council discusses procedures taken to implement National Vision

SANAA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – The Shura Council’s Main Committee to follow up the implementation of the National Vision held a meeting Sunday, headed by the Shura Speaker Mohammed al-Aidarous.

The meeting discussed, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs and Head of the National Vision Executive Office Mahmoud al-Junaid, the steps and procedures implemented by the National Vision Executive Office in accordance with its main themes.

Al-Aidarous noted the tasks assigned to the committee so as to enhance the Council’s role in following up the implementation of the national vision in the various state agencies.

He affirmed that the Shura Council’s activity plan for 2020, which is derived from the main axes of the national vision, would contribute to achieving the goals of the plan.

In the meeting, al-Junaid reviewed the steps implemented by National Vision Executive Office in accordance with the general framework of the project, its methodology and contents, which include 12 main axes.

Al-Junaid pointed out that the Salvation Government’s plan for 2020 would be realistic, inspired by the challenges of the stage and emanating from the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state.

He emphasized the expected role of the Shura Council in the study and analysis of data and issues of priority to serve the vision’s success.
