10 Killed, 20 injured in car bomb explosion in Mogadishu

SANAA, Dec. 28 (YPA) –  At least ten people were killed and twenty injured after a car bomb explosion targeting a tax office southwest of the Somali capital, Mogadishu on Saturday morning.

local “Dalsan Radio” reported that “a number of civilians were killed and others were injured when a car bomb was detonated in front of a tax office in Afgooye, southwest of Mogadishu.”

The radio added, “The explosion occurred while school students and employees took to the street.”
A spokesman for the Somali Ministry of Information said, “A large number of people were killed and wounded, while ambulances are still rushing to the site of the accident.”
