Tawoos, ICRC official discuss plan of humanitarian work in Hodeidah
SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos discussed on Sunday with ICRC mission the problems that face the humanitarian organization’s work in Hodeidah.
The move came during his meeting with Deputy Head of Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Freya Raddi in Sanaa.
At the meeting, the officials aspects regarding the humanitarian work and joint coordination to facility the international organizations’ work operating in Yemen in light of the exceptional situation the country is going through as a result of the aggression and the siege imposed on the Yemeni people.
Tawoos stressed on the importance of positive role made by the ICRC in providing the humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of citizens in al-Durayhimi district.
For her part, Raddi praised efforts and role made by the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs in facilitating the organizations work ,which will contribute to alleviating the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
