Parliament Speaker praises MPs role in discussing Gov’t in previous meeting  

SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – The Parliament’s Speaker Yahya Ali al-Ra’i on Sunday praised the role of the Parliament’s members (MPs) and the level of their discussion with the Salvation Government in Saturday’s meeting.

This came during his chairmanship of an expanded meeting of the Parliamentary Committee, which included heads and rapporteurs of the permanent committees of the parliament.

Al-Ra’i called for adopting a unified mechanism in discussing the matrix and the papers submitted by the government.

He stressed the need to seriously consider all points and issues, as they outline general policies of the country, in order to come up with an integrated report on performance, observations and proposals to be discussed jointly with the government next Saturday.
