Saudi authorities stop broadcasting Mahrah TV

MAHRAH, Dec. 17 (YPA) – Saudi authorities have directed a heavy blow to Hadi’s governor and loyalists in the eastern Province of Mahrah.

Media source reported on Monday that the Saudi authorities stopped broadcasting Mahrah satellite channel a year after its launch in the Saudi capital Riyadh.

The move came at the request of  Hadi’s Government through the Minister of Information, to stop the broadcast of the channel through a company contracted by the governor of “Hadi” in Mahrah directly, without supervision or reference to the Ministry.

They explained that Bakret wasted hundreds of millions to launch the channel, which he dedicated during the broadcast to polish it in the media, and cover up the protests against corruption the Saudi presence in the province.

Sources said Hadi’s government considered the establishment of the Channel to be an unjustified futile in the province’s revenues, amounting to 20 billion riyals annually.

Observers considered that the suspension of Mahrah satellite channel is a step towards the  Bakret and stripping  him of the media cover that he has been sheltering, and through which he promotes fake projects, through which he seizes the revenues of the province.
