Ship loaded with diesel arrives at Hodeidah port

SANAA, Dec. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) announced the arrival of a ship loaded with 27,673 tons of diesel at Hodeidah Port on Monday after being held by the aggression coalition for 13 days.

A statement issued by the company noted that the aggression coalition is still holding seven oil ships and prevents them from entering the port of Hodeidah, one of which has been in detention for more than 44 day.

The statement indicated that the aggression coalition prevents these ships from entering Hodeidah port despite obtaining permits from the United Nations.

The leadership of the oil company directed the specialists in the Hodeidah branch, in order to enter the ship “Naama” to connect to the appropriate berth, and to take the necessary measures to cover the full needs of citizens and maintain the stability of supplies in the local market.
