Yemeni ambassador in Tehran meets Swiss counterpart, acting Libyan ambassador

SANAA, Dec. 15 (YPA) – Yemen’s Ambassador to Iran Ibrahim al-Dailami on Sunday met with Swiss ambassador in Tehran Markus Leitner and the delegated minister at the Swiss embassy, Kim Sitzler.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to support President Mahdi al-Mashat’s initiative to achieve peace in light of the intransigence of Saudi regime which did not deal seriously with the initiative.

The meeting also touched on aspects related to facilitating humanitarian and relief work in Yemen and enhancing cooperation with the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the capital, Sanaa.

On another hand, al-Dailami discussed with Charge d’Affaires of the Libyan ambassador in Tehran Ali al-Ubaidi prospects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance and develop them.
